This web site is operated by Little Hunting Creek, Inc. (LHC), a non-profit Virginia corporation. LHC's purposes are threefold: (1) To educate the public, particularly residents of communities situated in the watershed, about its history, ecosystem, recreational potential, and governance relating to the public's access to and activities in and on the creek; (2) To bring the communities abutting the creek into closer relation and cooperation with one another through the sharing of information; and (3) To serve these communities by providing useful information and links to relevant sources of information relating to governance, environmental management and other issues of interest.
